Precision Heat Treating Corporation has the capability to properly process most tool and die steels including air hardening - i.e. A-2, D-2, etc., oil hardening - i.e. O-1, 4140, etc. and high-speed steels - i.e. M-2, CPM10V, etc. Vacuum processing is used for air hardening and high-speed grades while controlled atmosphere is utilized for processing oil hardening grades. Gas Nitriding for tool and die steels is also offered.
